What I thought about the PSA Article

The Article was informative. I already knew how to do a PSA, but it thought me a little more. It went in depth of what a PSA was really about. The article made making a PSA more understandable. The article showed me how to clearly organize and state the point that I am trying to make. Each point made in the article was relevant to ensure that a good PSA is made. In my PSA I need to make sure I relate to my audience. Music does not always have to be in PSA's, only use music to enhance the point. This article has thought me to further inspect my PSA.

Type of PSA

The PSA will  inform people.

I will be using music and pictures. The intent of my video is to teach people about animal rights and fairness.
My PSA will be engaging, so that the viewer  can stay interested. Animated text will be used.
My video will start off with a question to think about involving Animal Rights. Then music will begin to play and pictures of animals will show. The animated texts will be set in place in correspondence with the pictures. Then another thinking question will be brought up, until the idea of the project is properly represented. The PSA will sell the topic that I will be presenting.

Capstone Elements

I will present my Capstone Project using props such as stuffed animals and people. My Poster will be presented on a stand where people can clearly see it.

I will dress up as a professor to show that I am creating a class.

The important points for my presentation will be the class of course as well as the animals and people I will be discussing.

I will be creating a website and a brochure to inform people and students what the class is about. A short PSA will be included.

Look and feel issues of my project

A. The video for my project can go any way. It can be serious and humorous at the same time. It can be a fun video to get people interested in the class.

B. The colors will be bright to catch the viewers attention. Some of the colors will be dark to maybe show sadness in some part of my project. The font size and layout will show interests in what the class they are about to take. Animals and people are important to the presentation of my project.

C. My presentation will persuade people to get on board with the problem of animals not having rights. The presentation will also educate people.

D. I will make my point view understood by using everyday scenarios to catch peoples attention.

E. I'm intending to create a class were students that are going into the Veterinary field can learn about the different rights that animals have, so they can make a difference in the way people treat animals as well. For example if an animal come into a clinic because of being abused, the doctor can take action immediately and effectively because of what they learned form the class.

Thinking ahead on PSA

1. I will emphasis the need for animal rights, and why they are important for animals and people.

2. Visuals of animals, animation and music are appropriate for my video

3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSo0dEJsRJw&feature=relatedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaIkvpukrhA, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VS7kTNm2IGA&feature=related

Comments: Each of the PSA videos show how animals help humans, and what animals have to deal with everyday because of people. The videos also teach people about animal's rights on this earth as well, meaning they have a purpose for being on this Earth.

Capstone Project Statement of Intent

1. The goal of the project is to inform students about animal rights and how they affect what is done in animal clinics. My project will show students how to deal with certain situations, so they will make better decisions.  It will also show people that animals have rights as well as people do.

2. The project is important in that it will inform students, and allow them to think in terms of the animal. It will allow the students to do what is right for the animal as well as the owner.

3. These goals fit my career objectives in that possibly, more animals will be saved, and animals will receive the rights they deserve.

4. My project will give back to the society, in that animals and people will respect each others boundaries. People will be better informed about why animals and people live together, and how we can help them survive like we all are.

5. My project will effect the following, People, Economics, Environment. People will be able to learn about animal rights and the actions they will take to ensure that the rights are enforced. Economically, the cost of Veterinary bill will increase for some patients because of the decisions that will be made from taking the class. Environmentally, animals will get the respect that they deserve, and be able to conserve wild life.
